The Story of Rudolph the Deer
On a cold winter evening, Rudolf, the red-nosed reindeer, was on his way home from Santa's magical workshop. Thick snowflakes danced in the sky, and the bright red of Rudolf's nose shone like a lighthouse in the dark landscape.
Suddenly he heard a soft cry among the rustling of the bushes. He stopped, pricked up his ears, and followed the sound. In the middle of the field, under a snow-covered pine, sat a little boy, shivering from the cold. The little boy's tears glistened like frozen ice drops.
"Why are you crying, my little friend?" Rudolf asked in a friendly voice.
The little boy shuddered and then caught sight of Rudolf's special, luminous nose.
"I lost it in the forest," he said in a trembling voice. — My parents and I went skating on the lake, but I got lost when it started snowing.
Rudolf felt sorry for the little boy.
"Don't worry, I'll take you home!" he said with a smile and shook his tinkling reindeer bells. "Hold the edge of my coat so we don't lose each other in the snow!"
The little boy followed Rudolf with confidence. The reindeer's nose shone brightly, illuminating the path through the thick snow-covered trees. As they walked, Rudolf began to sing a cheerful tune to soothe his little companion.
"Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells..." he hummed, and the little boy joined him softly.
After a long journey, Rudolf finally spotted the boy's parents, who were desperately searching for their child among the pine trees. At the sight of the shining nose, a happy cry erupted from them.
"There it is!" cried his mother, hugging the little boy tightly.
"Thank you, Rudolph!" said the father gratefully. "I don't know what we would have done without you."
Rudolf smiled and replied:
"I was happy to help." Now I know that my red nose is really useful!
The little boy hugged Rudolf and took a beautiful Christmas ornament from his coat pocket that he had made earlier that day.
"I give this to you, Rudolf, to remember me!" he said happily.
Rudolf clutched the gift to his heart and looked at the sky with satisfaction. He knew he had done something really special that night.
